Looking Ahead to Easter and New Life

Luke 24:11 But they did not believe the women because their words seemed to them like nonsense.

The sadness in the Christian Church today is that many would say yes, he is risen, and yet their lifestyle denies that truth. They are carrying spices for a dead Christ. Our faith is totally dependent on one act: Jesus Christ rose.

I believe that the strongest proof that Christ has risen is seen in the unbelief of His followers. lf they, having tried every argument to make themselves not believe, were at last convinced that it could have been by no other way then so must we.

The wonderful truth about the Christian Faith is that you can come with your questions, with your doubts, and let the Risen Christ walk with you, sharing and growing. My faith has found a resting place, not in device nor creed. I trust the ever living one, His wounds for me shall plead. I need no other argument. I need no other plea. lt is enough that Jesus died and that he died for me.
