2005 and 2006 saw two very successful Flower Festivals with contributions from groups throughout the community.

Sponsored Walks

 

The St Drostan's Sponsored Walk is a yearly event which is always well supported. Following a leisurely walk in the surrounding countryside everyone returns to the public hall for a barbecue and fun activities for the kids.

Christmas

 

Christmas in the parish is a very special time. In New Aberdour we take to the streets for a carol singing procession (with a real donkey in tow!) This is followed by a family service with contributions from the choir and children. Across at Auchmedden Church in Pennan there is a traditional carol service

Heritage

 

2007 saw a unique heritage event in the church which looked at life in the parish over the years. A fascinating exhibition was staged and a DVD produced for church funds.

Weddings & Baptisms

 

Our 2008 special event was a 'Weddings and Baptisms' weekend, where folks returned to church to see a collection of memorabilia and renew their vows.
